The vast array of weapons owned by the Man of Bronze was very impressive.

Probably the most well remembered was the submachine pistol. Since the days of Doc Savage there have been many styles of Machine Pistols made, Here's what a couple styles may have looked like:

Doc went to a hand bag and opened it. The piece of baggage held several weapons which resembled overgrown automatic pistols. They were fitted with curled magazines. These were machine guns of Doc's own invention. The weapons were tiny, compared to the destruction they could wreak. They fired so rapidly that their roar was like the note of a gigantic bull-fiddle. Magazines were charged with what big-game hunters call "mercy bullets" - slugs which produce unconsciousness instead of death. (Brand of The Werewolf)

Out of one pocket Monk snatched an egg-sized blob of metal. He pressed a lever on the thing. It popped, and spouted black smoke. The smoke spread, and almost instantaneously, the room was full of drawing-ink black. (The Yellow Cloud)
